KN welcomed Robert Graves to his first meeting.

 Declarations of Interest

KN declared an interest in the planning application for Copper Beech Barn.

1.Matters arising

 

1.1    Access to Mrs Balderson’s Property

KN has SIM form but is now waiting for map of access ground from PN.

1.2    Bus Shelter

BD had found a contact who might have a bus shelter available. SH has contacted them & left a message but not yet received a reply

 

1.3    Confusion over Everdon Industrial Estate

SH has established that Everdon Park is a road in Heartlands Business Park and not Drayton Fields Industrial Estate as Northampton County Council had informed us. SH has identified approximately 10 companies and will be writing to them re. possible confusion with Everdon village when satellite navigation systems are used to locate these companies.

 

1.4. Coventry Airport – Revision of Noise Preferential Routes

A response has been sent by PN objecting to proposed new routes

4.1 S137(4)(a) Expenditure Limit per Elector

For 2006/2007 this is £5.44 per elector.

 

 

 

4.2 Parish Plan – Grants available

A grant of up to £1000 is available from Defra’s Rural Social & Community Programme to produce a parish plan. (The parish plan is a consultation process encompassing all aspects of village life that sets out a vision of where your community would like to see their village in the future). SH to get hold of information so a parish plan can be considered

6.1 Highway Matters

6.1.1 Drainage Problems on Fawsley/Newnham Rd

SH sent letter to Mr Jeff Tarry at Little Preston with copy of the Atkins letter

 

6.1.2 Dustbins
SH spoke to Farthingstone PC and found that they occasionally had problem but was not a major issue.

6.2 Rights of Way

It was agreed that footpaths would be assigned to individual councillors to monitor at the next parish meeting. SH to provide details of footpaths allocated to councillors previously.

6.3 Grass Mowing
MP expressed dissatisfaction at quality and frequency of grass mowing. SH to draft letter to contractor for KN to sign expressing dissatisfaction
