Two representatives from Stage coach attended the meeting. Two
issues emerged from the discussion on the changed timetable –parishioners
wanted a hail & stop service and also an early bus for people to be able
to get to college and work in Daventry. The representatives agreed to the
hail & stop service and would discuss the requirement for an early
morning bus with their MD. A response would be given to the relevant
parishioners by Friday 12 January 2007. As a result of the above discussion,
it was agreed that as the villagers wanted a hail & stop bus service,
there was no requirement for a bus shelter as there would not be a designated
bus stop. Stagecoach were only able to confirm a continued bus service for a
year.. |
